Services

Not sure what your garden needs, or how to approach the work?

Find out what a garden designer can do for you.

Consultancy

Horticultural advice, spatial planning, legal and environmental considerations, privacy and screening, maintenance – these are just some of the issues we can cover during a consultancy session. The visit is followed up by a written report to summarise our discussion and give you some pointers for moving forward.

Design

A full design service is offered, from concept through to completion. Often, this can follow on from a consultancy session, or you may already know your garden is in need of a rethink, and are ready to dive in.

I regularly work alongside architects on new bespoke builds and house remodelling, where a landscaping plan is required for planning purposes.

As well as detailed plans for hardscaping and soft landscaping, I provide lighting and irrigation design, water feature concepts and sculptural objects, and specify pots, planters, screens and arches.

Visualisation

As well as 2D plans, I create 3D models so that you can visualise your garden from all sides, as well as demonstrate the effects of light, shade and weather. I can also work with architects' CAD models to give an illustration of how any renovation, remodelling or new building work will affect the garden.

Plant sourcing and installation

Drawing on my RHS-trained expertise, I source plants from APHA-registered suppliers and wholesalers working with the Plant Passport scheme for full traceability. Alongside, I will personally assess all plant stock for health, quality and value before planting. Installation includes precise setting out, planting, and, with sustainability a vital part of our processes, the responsible recycling of containers.
